    CERTIFICATE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

    GPHRTM CERTIFICATION INFORMATION

The Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI®) developed the certification and administers the exam. The SHRM Global Learning System prepares you for the GPHRTM certification exam and also includes information about how the components of the test are weighted.

  • Due to the frequent changes in HR information, policies and regulations, it is recommended that participants take the GPHRTM certification exam in the same year that they complete the learning system.
  • The SHRM Global Learning System does not "teach to the exam." The HRCI test items are held in strict security and are not made available to SHRM or any organization. The SHRM Global Learning System team developed its own activities and questions based on the HRCI test specifications and while these may be similar to certification exam items, they are not exact matches.
  • All certification testing is computer-based and conducted at the 250 Prometric Test Centers around the country. For best results, schedule your certification exam for a date that is after the end of your particular class section. For information on the exam and how to register, visit www.hrci.org.

While no single course of study guarantees success on the HRCI examinations, thousands of individuals have used the SHRM Global Learning System® to effectively prepare for the exams.
