PHR® and SPHR® CERTIFICATION INFORMATION
PHR® and SPHR® certification exams are administered by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI®). Please note that university course fees are separate from HRCI® examination fees. Contact HRCI® for certification exam information, exam registration and exam fees. To be eligible to sit for either the PHR® or SPHR® examination, candidates must have a minimum of two years of HR exempt-level experience. You can attend these classes without the two years of experience, but you will not be eligible to sit for the certification exam.
All certification testing is computer-based and conducted at the 250 Prometric Test Centers around the country. For best results, schedule your certification exam for a date that is after the end of your particular class section. For information on the exam and how to register, visit www.hrci.org.
While no single course of study guarantees success on the HRCI® examinations, thousands of individuals have used the SHRM Learning System® to effectively prepare for the exams.
