Donna Edwards, MA,
Certified Stress Management Coach
Donna Edwards, MA, works with organizations to build a more positive and productive workplace. Her presentations are interactive, motivational, fun, inspirational, and information-packed. As a speaker, trainer, and Certified Stress Management Coach, she assists businesses in transforming stress habits into powerful, new adaptive strategies for optimal productivity and creative energy. Her programs focus on de-stressing, achieving a balance between life and work, using time more effectively, embracing change, opening creative channels, and developing an attitude of enthusiasm. She has reached thousands of people in corporations, organizations, universities, and adult education programs with her wisdom and practical how-to solutions.
Donna understands the needs and concerns of the business world. She has real-life experience in the positions of programmer, systems analyst, project manager, and designer of business applications. Her clients include such companies as Zurich, Black and Decker Corporation, and Random House Publishing.
Training is her forte. In addition to her organizational trainings, Donna has taught diverse populations in various topics. She served as Assistant Professor and Chair of the Computer Information Systems Department at Carroll Community College. Through the Baltimore County Adult Education Program, Donna assisted persons globally to learn the English language and assimilate into our culture. And as a social worker, had the opportunity to teach basic and business skills to developmentally disabled individuals. Donna has also designed workshops and facilitated groups on the subjects of empowerment, meditation, and intuitive development, and has done public speaking on volunteerism. She has been acclaimed as an excellent communicator, and has received awards for outstanding teaching.
An accomplished counselor and personal coach, Donna has assisted many on the path of empowerment. She maintains a private practice that focuses on a holistic approach to wellness and the ability of all persons to overcome obstacles, take charge, and create an abundant life. Numerous publications have featured her work, and she has been a frequent radio guest for her unique coaching approach.
Donna has participated in extensive training and skill building throughout her career. She was awarded a BA in secondary education and language arts, and an MA with concentration in psychology from John Hopkins University. Donna earned a certification in stress management from the International Association of Counselors and Therapists.
She combines her coaching, training, and business expertise to offer assistance to individuals and organizations to maximize performance. She does this through customized keynotes, seminars, facilitations, workshops, breakouts, retreats, and personal and business coaching. Donna has delivered hundreds of presentations, averages 4.8 out of 5.0 on evaluations, has a 90% referral rate, and is frequently asked back. Donna's commitment to assisting others - in growth, positive change, work, and life enhancement - is reflected in her enthusiasm, passion, and sense of purpose.
